Architectural Philosophy
“Our teams work on projects from the start to the finish. This is very important for us. What we want to create is quality space for people, driven by love of detail and the use of relevant technologies.”

Anka works closely with acclaimed consultants and also with the clients, trying to establish an integrated design that, in time, will help creating buildings that engage better with the user and with its surroundings. The design is carried out through a collective way of thinking and working that focuses on precision.

Anka works with 3D and small-large scale models for each project to develop design decisions. Anka constantly seeks to find new ways of sculpting light and materials, minimize the environmental impact and consolidate the design from the start through producing details that represent the final building. Each Anka project is a unique work combining intellectual and artistic sensitivity tempered by the tradition and culture from which they spring.

METHODOLOGY

How We Work

01

Integrated Synthesis

Anka works closely with clients and world-class engineering consultants from the earliest sketches to establish seamless synergy between form, structure, and site ecology.

02

3D Scale Sculpting

Every project utilizes precise 3D simulations and parametric physical models to evaluate sun path, prevailing sea breezes, and natural daylight modulation.

03

Material Longevity

Sculpting local coral stone, tropical hardwoods, and marine-grade finishes that age gracefully under the coastal climate of Tanzania and East Africa.
